A bit about OLIVIA...

Health and Fitness has always been a big part of my life , so much so that I decided to make a career out of it and I studied at Kendal College for my Level 3 Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage. I qualified in 2016 and became a member of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists) 
I am passionate about my work. A key focus being provide a service that relieves pain, treats injuries, sports or otherwise and teaches awareness of the whole body and how some lifestyle choices may adversely affect it.
I have worked with elite athletes ranging from professional goal keepers, cyclists, fell runners, people training for Ironman competitions and body builders, as well as the other end of the spectrum including everyday occupational aches and pains. For example;

-Sciatica
-Neck pain
-Headaches

I am a fitness instructor teaching upto 7 classes a week both aerobic classes and weight training classes. I was starting to get really sore calves and shooting pains in my legs. I have always suffered from really tight hamstrings and quads, so I decided that I needed to start maintaining myself better in order for me to teach to the best of my ability. I have been getting massages off Olivia every week for the past 3 or 4 months and she has worked wonders. I would highly recommend her and do so to all my class participants. She is so warm and welcoming, she comes to my home which is perfect for me and tries to fit in around my schedule which is great. Since having my massages with Olivia I have seen huge improvement in my legs and also back, I no longer suffer with the pain in my calves and shins.

I initially came to see Olivia on a whim. Having never had a massage before, I was not sure what it would be like. I had been experiencing an increasing number of headaches and migraines and thought it might help, but wasn’t too hopeful. I met with Olivia the first time and told her how I had been feeling and she was warm, understanding and knowledgeable so before she even touched me I felt at ease. Driving home after my first massage I felt better than I had in months (maybe years). I hadn’t realised just how tense I was until I wasn’t any more! Olivia recommended two or three massages initially and I felt increasingly better after each one. Olivia also taught me some exercises I could do at home and gave advice on how to manage between appointments. Before I met Olivia I was experiencing 2 or 3 debilitating migraines a week, and had a headache more or less all of the time. I felt tired and had aches and pains, and my neck crunched every time I moved it! Since those initial 3 massages, I have had 3 migraines in 4 months and I rarely get any headaches at all now. As a result I feel so much better and I have a lot more energy.  I really didn’t think it would help, but didn’t think it would hurt to try. I’m now totally convinced. From living in a fog for 12 months, I feel like me again.
